Synopsis

AI-generated · themoviedb.org · en.wikipedia.org

Lokesh Kanagaraj directs this 2019 Tamil-language action thriller, the first film in what became the Lokesh Cinematic Universe. Karthi plays Dilli, a convict released on parole for one night to see his daughter, who instead gets pulled into driving a group of poisoned police officers to a hospital while evading the criminals responsible. The story unfolds almost entirely within that single night. Lokesh developed the script after reading a news article about a former prisoner's life.
