The film deals with the grotesque nature of beauty standards in no subtle terms. It’s disturbingly magnificent and profoundly engaging. Demi Moore delivers a wonderful performance, and I love the narrative structure.
The story however, towards the end, goes over the top and yet feels unfinished or at the very least not fully polished to me. That said, its a celebration of gore and does not shy away from it at all and I love the raw authenticity. The film quite reminded me of “A Clockwork Orange” - in a good way.
